Pool Rules and Considerations

• Swimming is only allowed when a lifeguard is on duty

• No running, horseplay, spitting or profanities

• No playing on the buoy line, ladders or guard chair

• No diving in marked areas

• Proper swimming suits must be worn; no street clothes.

• Each bather must fully shower with soap & water before entering the pool to maintain pool clarity.

• Children who are not toilet trained must wear rubber pants or "little swimmers" in the pool

• All members must sign in themselves and any guests and remain with them while they are at the facility.

• Maximum one guest per family member at the pool (up to four guest)unless prearranged by the Board of Directors.

• A non-swimmer must be accompanied by an adult, except during swimming lessons

• The ability to swim four consecutive widths of the pool is required to gain access to the deep end.

• A child must swim two consecutive widths of the pool to gain access to the shallow end, unaccompanied by an adult

• During swimming lessons adults are asked to leave their charges in care of the lifeguards. If they must observe, they are asked to sit back from the deck and not interrupt the concentration of the learners.

• For special event rental inquiries, please contact the Board of Directors.

• Children who are non-swimmers may wear a life jacket or puddle jumper.  A parent/guardian must accompany a non-swimmer. 

• During ‘Open Swim’ times, a non-swimmer/a child who has not passed the Deep End Swim Test, may enter the deep end wearing a PFD (life jacket or puddle jumper) and if/when accompanied by a parent/guardian.  While in the deep end, the swimmer must remain in direct supervision and within arms’ reach of the parent/guardian at all times. * Pool noodles are not considered an acceptable PFD.

• During ‘Green-Light Swim’ times (7 pm-close), only swimmers who have passed the (4 pool widths) Deep End Swim Test will be permitted in the deep end.

• When the maximum number of swimmers of 83 in the pool is reached, the pool will be closed to newcomers for one hour

• No smoking anywhere in the pool area or tennis courts 

• No eating or drinking in the pool or on the pool deck

• Lawn chairs not permitted on pool deck

• No pets allowed in the facility.

• Bathers use the facilities at their own risk.

• No glass or ceramic containers allowed on the pool deck or tennis courts
