A HUGE thank you to all our volunteers!  

 

There are so many opportunities for members of every age to get involved with the SAE. Please contact us to sign-up for an event or task. 

Grounds Keeping
• lawn mowing
• weed whacking
• garbage removal
• weeding
• snow removal 

We are looking for week long commitments from community member to help with the upkeep of the grounds. 
 

Duties can be completed on any day/night throughout the chosen week we just ask they are done when the pool is closed. Typically the grass will need to be mowed once a week as well as pulling weeds & weed whipping. Garbage may need to be picked up and thrown in the bin. The tennis courts may need minor clean up. Grass cutting will include the grass inside the pool area as well as the front and side boulevard areas (Inverness & Dakin). 

 

If you volunteer, someone will arrange for you to gain access to the grounds & shed.  Gas for the mower will be inside the shed as well as other related tools and equipment.

Social Committee
• assist with a specific task

• donate materials
• donate food or drink
• help with set-up/take down

The Executive Board plans events for the summer and cannot execute them all without help from our members. 

 

If you would like to run an event for us or be involved in a particular event or there is a job that you enjoy doing we would love to hear from you. Many events need help with set-up or clean-up, donations of snacks etc. 

 

Possible events/activities that need volunteers and/or donations include:

 

  • Opening ceremonies

  • Wine & cheese

  • Tennis lessons

  • Movie nights

  • Card nights

  • Olympics

  • Road Hockey

must be between 13-16 years old
